Welcome to 2026

Christmas and New Year festivities are over and life has returned to routine.

I hope that you all had a great break from work and spent time with loved ones.

Here at OSiT, we have started  2026 with the launch of a new website and hope in our hearts that it is going to be a happy and healthy year for everyone. Please do check out the site and let me know your thoughts. It was a big project for us!

Some of us will have experienced snow and some disappointed that they didn’t. I am in the disappointed camp as I do love the snow and for whatever reason makes me excited, despite my age. Maybe it’s the fact that the trains stop running and I am trapped at home 😊

I hope you enjoy this first Newsletter of the year and look forward to your comments.

Much love,

Sarah

5 Easy Ways to Boost Your Mood This January

Emails-18
  • Random act of kindness - a small thank you message, a coffee for your colleague can really make the difference to someone's day and yours included

  • Catching some daylight – with the dark mornings and dark evenings take a break from your day and even a short walk outside can work wonders for your energy and mindset.
  • Plan something to look forward to – it is easy to want to stay in in January but having even a small treat or weekend plan can make the week feel more exciting.
  • Tidy your space – put some time a side to clear your desk or room, it can really help create a calmer environment
  • No screen half hour - step away from your emails and phones. Read a book, meditate or even sit and have a cup of tea! 30 minutes of switching off can reset your focus.

Be Kind to Your Body 🧘‍♂️

Emails-19

January can feel a little heavy for many of us. Short days, cold weather, and busy routines can take their toll on both body and mind. One of the simplest ways to lift your energy and support your mental health is to keep your body moving.

Across our centres, we see clients using the gym at our centres in all sorts of ways. From quiet yoga and stretching, to strength training and lifting weights, everyone moves in their own way and at their own pace. There’s no pressure, no rules, just space to do what feels right for you.

Movement isn’t about pushing yourself to the limit. It’s about showing up, breathing, and taking a moment for yourself. Even a short workout or stretch can make a big difference.

As we ease into the new year, we’re proud to offer spaces that support both work and wellbeing. 💚
